But, really, it's more an excuse than a reason: I'm happy beyond to abandon my heels because, honestly, they effing kill my feet.
New research, however, shows that I am therefore not only to feel significant pain of heels: according to a study by the College of podiatry, most women have pain less than an hour from the port of them and of 90 per cent of women have problems of the wrong connection shoes. Crazily enough, one-third of women said they wore heels that they knew did not fit because they really, really liked their and couldn't find the right size. (Uh, yikes!)
Fortunately, flats and kitten heels are quite hot this season, so he did not need to kill with exorbitant shoes. However, if you need to strut their stuff on in your pumps, here are some tips of Podiatrist Phil Vasyli, founder of Orthaheel and Weil shoes integrative.
"The human body was not designed to walk in high heels, so the most logical thing is to save them for special occasions or on weekends," said. "If you want to wear a heel, the best option is to aim a heel of a year and a half to two inches with a wedge sole, especially with contacts with the Arch of the foot." If you are looking for a superior fashion shoe, two to three inches is an acceptable height. "But, if you walk into something greater than three inches, will affect your normal approach."
Vasyli suggests also commit to stretching before and after wearing high heels. Try this: sitting on the floor with the front legs of you, then pull on the place and back on your toes for 30 seconds. Repeat five times and try to do three times a day.
Hey, if this plan allows to avoid my aching feet as a mother, after a night out on the town, it is quite worth a try.
